Verbs that retained their reduplication in the past tense in Proto-Germanic.



The reduplicating vowel is always -ai-. The verbs with -ē- in the present tense can be split into two subclasses. The first subgroup changes the stem vowel to -ō- in the past tense, the second retains the present tense vowel.
