Usage
[edit]This template may be used in Wiktionary entries to format quotations from a version of Wycliffe's Bible (c. 1382–1395) edited by Josiah Forshall and Frederic Madden (1st edition, 1850). It can be used to create a link to online versions of the work at the Internet Archive:
Parameters
[edit]The template takes the following parameters:

– mandatory: the volume quoted from,|volume=I

– use this parameter to specify the name of a part of the work that is not a book of the Bible, for example,|part=Prologue

– mandatory: the name of the book of the Bible quoted from – see the table below for the full list.|3=

– mandatory: the chapter of the book quoted in uppercase Roman numerals, following the work.|4=

to surround a quotation with brackets. This indicates that the quotation either contains a mere mention of a term (for example, "some people find the word manoeuvre hard to spell") rather than an actual use of it (for example, "we need to manoeuvre carefully to avoid causing upset"), or does not provide an actual instance of a term but provides information about related terms.|termlang=
– by default, the template categorizes entries on which it is placed into Category:Middle English terms with quotations. To have the template categorize an entry into Category:English terms with quotations instead, use|termlang=en
.
