Usage
[edit]This is a template used to format Jamaican Creole quotations from the 2012 first and only translation of the Bible by the Bible Society of the West Indies.
Parameters

– mandatory: the name of the book of the Bible quoted from; see the table below for the full list. The name will be displayed in Middle English, but must be entered in Modern English.|2=

– mandatory: the chapter of the book quoted in Arabic numerals, following the work.|3=

– mandatory: the verse(s) of the chapter quoted in Arabic numerals, following the work. If quoting a range of verses, separate the verse numbers with an en dash, like this:|verses=10–11

to surround a quotation with brackets. This indicates that the quotation either contains a mere mention of a term (for example, "some people find the word manoeuvre hard to spell") rather than an actual use of it (for example, "we need to manoeuvre carefully to avoid causing upset"), or does not provide an actual instance of a term but provides information about related terms.
