    1. A dictionary or wordbook; a publication — online or physical — which lists (often in alphabetical order) the words and/or phrases of a language or languages with provided definitions or clarification of meaning.
      Synonyms: orðsifjabók (etymological dictionary), uppflettibók (encyclopedia), uppflettirit (encyclopedia), uppsláttarrit (encyclopedia)
