lv audio files to be redone
[edit]A subheading for me to engage in obsessive perfectionism over audio files and list things to look out for.
A bunch of files have really weird sounding stress (almost as if there was full stress on the second syllable). Perhaps the most extreme cases:
- Igaunija
- Igaunijas Republika stress OK, but way too much creaky voice
- igaunis
- arsēns
- argons
(But maybe I'm just imagining things)
- astats [a] sounds like [ʌ] or [ɑ] or something
- lācene plācene?
- Gruzija just doesn't sound natural with me forcing myself to pronounce the <a>, should be Gruzij and there's some click in the b/g.
- atvasara nothing too bad (except for weird phonation and sh*t quality)... But Indian summer is on the list of "nice, beautiful things" which means pron. files must be of top quality!
All countries and chemical elements, in turn, go on the list of "important things" and should have non-weird sounding, crisp pron. files as well.
