  • In mainland China, this character, is considered a variant traditional form of (jìng). The usage of is replaced by the orthodox form (jìng) which is simplified as (jìng).
  • In the Song dynasty dictionary, Jiyun集韻 (Jíyùn)》, is also listed as a variant form of (jìng). However, in modern Taiwan, and (jìng) are considered as two different characters.
