Etymology
[edit]From Sino-Tibetan. Cognate with Tibetan རྒྱུ་ (rgyu, “to go; to walk; to move; to wander”), Lepcha ᰚᰪ (yŭ), Rawang yɨ (“to flow”) (Schuessler, 2007).
