- 麒驥驊騮は古の良馬也。一日の内に千里を馳す。しかれども鼠を捕ことは狸狌にはをとる也。
- Qiji and Hualiu are fine horses in ancient times. They are able to gallop one thousand li in a single day. Nevertheless they are inferior to stray cats in catching rats.
