Automatically generates IPA, phonetic hangeul , and romanisations in four systems for Korean. Relying on Module:ko-pron .
No compulsory parameters.
Optional parameters:
|1=...
(first parameter)
Word to be analysed. Take the pagename if empty.
|l=...
If medial of first syllable is long (y
). eg. 한국어 (|l=y
). If multiple long vowels exist, these can be separated by commas.
|cap=...
If first letter should be capitalised (y
). eg. 한국 (|cap=y
).
|com=...
Last syllable of compounding component 1. Specify only if compounding results in tensification of ensuing initial not reflected in Hangul spelling. eg. 상사병 (|com=2
).
Or if in general any syllable in the word is irregularly tensified, typically in loanwords. Word-initial irregular tensification can use |com=0
. eg. 서클 (|com=0
).
Multiple irregular tensifications can be separated by commas.
|nn=...
If the intersyllabic sequence 'n-l' should be transcribed 'nn'. Default is 'no'. eg. 의견란 (|nn=3
). If multiple irregularities exist, these can be separated by commas.
|ui=...
If the syllable '의 ' is also pronounced '이 '. Specify syllable number. Default is 'no'. eg. 공산주의 (|ui=4
).
|uie=...
If the syllable '의 ' is also pronounced '에 '. Specify syllable number. Default is 'no'. eg. 의 (|uie=1
).
|nobc=...
If a batchim letter is optionally silent, with unchanged tensification of the ensuing initial. Specify syllable number. eg. 고춧가루 (|nobc=2
).
|ni=...
If ㄴ (or ㄹ ) is added between two compounds. eg. 깻잎 (|ni=2
). If multiple irregularities exist, these can be separated by commas.
|bcred=...
If a consonant cluster in batchim is unfaithfully kept when followed by a null initial, or if there is morpheme division such that batchim neutralisation occurs prior to consonant assimilation, often in instances of compounding. This also blocks palatalization. eg. 값어치 (|bcred=1
), 맞흥정 (|bcred=1
), 곧이어 (|bcred=1
).
|svar=...
If an orthographical batchim s is variantly pronounced like 'd', often in compounds. eg. 멋있다 (|svar=1
).
|iot=...
If the iotated vowel-stem of component 1 is carried over to the infinitive suffix 'eo' in a serial verb. Specify syllable number. eg. 뛰어들다 (|iot=2
).
