Present participle of κατηγορούμαι (katigoroúmai), passive voice of κατηγορώ (katigoró, accuse). All genders, also substantivised.
As noun, learnedly, as in the substantivised plural masculine participle κατηγορούμενοι (katēgoroúmenoi) of Ancient Greek κατηγορούμενος (katēgoroúmenos) of verb κατηγορῶ (katēgorô), contracted form of κατηγορέω (katēgoréō) & semantic loan from French accusé.[1]
