[edit]From Proto-Germanic *tehun, from Proto-Indo-European *dรฉแธฑmฬฅt. Cognate to Old English tฤซen and Crimean Gothic thiine, and Koine Greek ฮดฮญฮบแพฐ (dรฉka), which it translates.
