- وَا أَسَفَاهُ! ― wā ʔasafāhu! ― wellaway, woe, alas, what grief!
- وَا حُزْنَاهُ عَلَيْكَ يَا أَبَتَاهُ! ― wā ḥuznāhu ʕalayka yā ʔabatāhu! ― Oh my sadness for you father!
- وَا فَرْحَتَاهُ! ― wā farḥatāhu! ― what joy!
- وَا حَرَّ قَلْبَاهُ! ― wā ḥarra qalbāhu! ― what pain, how heartburning!
