Inherited from Prakrit *𑀡𑀡𑀁𑀤𑀯𑀇 (*ṇaṇaṃdavaï) + Middle Indo-Aryan -𑀓- (-ka-), from Sanskrit ननान्दृपति (nanāndṛpati).[1][2][3]
