[edit]Inherited from Middle Hindi نند (nand /nanad/) / ننند (nanad),[1] from Sauraseni Prakrit 𑀡𑀡𑀁𑀤𑀸 (ṇaṇaṃdā), from Sanskrit ननान्दृ (nánāndṛ), ननन्दृ (nanandṛ).[2]
