Etymology

From an older مَأْسُورَة (maʔsūra) from the passive participle of أَسَرَ (ʔasara, to bind), from the root ء س ر (ʔ-s-r).

      The forces set up a cordon around the area of the [gas] leakage and informed the gas company and the council of the city Al-Fayyūm, and in return the competent persons ordered the complete closure of the main valves and it was stated that the reason of the leakage has been the presence of corrosion in some specific joints of the pipes, and the gas was cut off from the village up to the time of the end of the reparations.
