[edit]Borrowed from Arabic مَا بَيْنَ (mā bayna, literally “what is in-between”).

[edit]مابین • (mabeyin) (definite accusative مابینی (mabeyini), plural مابینلر (mabeyinler))
- space or place, opening, interval, room, between two or among many things
- room or suite of rooms in a Turkish house located between the haremlik and the selamlik
