Etymology

Learned borrowing from Koine Greek ἐκδηλῶ (ekdēlô, show clearly) with -ώνω (-óno) ending and semantic loan from French (se) manifester.[1] By surface analysis, εκ- (ek-) +‎ δηλώνω (dilóno).
