haszon
Appearance
Hungarian
[edit]Etymology
[edit]Uncertain, perhaps a Hungarian derivation from a proto-language. However, its cognates are debated:[1]
- From Proto-Uralic *kaća- (“gift; to present a gift”).[2]
- From Proto-Finno-Ugric *kaswa- (“to grow, increase”). Compare Finnish kasvaa.[3]
