Chinese, SoP of 番茄 (fānqié, “tomato”) + 炒蛋 (chǎodàn, “scrambled eggs”). Nothing idiomatic to require a separate entry.廣九直通車 (talk) 04:15, 8 November 2024 (UTC)
- Also note that I spared 番茄煮蛋 (fānqié zhǔdàn), as I consider "煮蛋 (zhǔ dàn)" to be idiomatic: it does not hint others that the cuisine is in fact stir-fried.
- Weak keep. It would be weird to just keep 番茄煮蛋. Also 番茄炒蛋 is in Guoyu Cidian, so WT:LEMMING. — justin(r)leung { (t...) | c=› } 22:02, 8 November 2024 (UTC)
- Keep per WT:FRIED. This is actually stir-fried tomato and scrambled eggs where the tomatoes are added after the eggs are cooked, as opposed to scrambled eggs with tomato where the tomatoes are added into the uncooked eggs. – wpi (talk) 12:16, 14 November 2024 (UTC)
