The existence and function is uncertain according to Clauson. Possibly "emphatic".

  1. Deverbal suffix; creates a new verb from a verb.
    *ko- (to put) + ‎*-d → ‎*kod- (same meaning)
    *to- (to be full) + ‎*-d → ‎*tod- (same meaning)
    *kǖ- (to wait) + ‎*-d → ‎*kǖd- (same meaning)
    *ï̄- (to send) + ‎*-d → ‎*ï̄d- (same meaning)
    *sī- (to urinate) + ‎*-d → ‎*sīd- (same meaning)
