Etymology
[edit]Borrowed from Latin Celtae (singular Celta), from Ancient Greek Κελτοί (Keltoí) (singular Κελτός (Keltós)). The singular is first attested in the sixteenth century, but remains rare until the nineteenth century.

- Het gebied tussen de Rijn en de Moezel was in deze tijd vooral bevolkt door Kelten.
