Etymology

Coined by Chinese novelist and essayist (1881–1936) famous writer and thinker Lu Xun in his essay 《外國也有》 (Foreign countries have it too).

外國人說中國多臭蟲，但西洋也有臭蟲。 [MSC, trad.]
