Etymology

    Inherited from Old Hindi अघाना (aghānā), from Prakrit 𑀅𑀕𑁆𑀖𑀯𑀇 (agghavaï), 𑀅𑀕𑁆𑀖𑀸𑀟𑀇 (agghāḍaï, to fill), from Sanskrit अघ्रापयति (aghrāpayati, to cause to smell), from the root घ्रा (ghrā).[1]
