Inherited from Old Hindi [Term?], from Sauraseni Prakrit 𑀡𑀘𑁆𑀘𑀤𑀺 (ṇaccadi), from Sanskrit नृत्यति (nṛ́tyati).

  1. to dance
  2. (figuratively) to be instrumental (ie. to follow or act on someone's order)
  3. (euphemistic) to have sexual intercourse
