Etymology

Inherited from Prakrit 𑀲𑀁𑀛𑀸 (saṃjhā), from Sanskrit संध्या (saṁdhyā́, twilight). Cognate with Sindhi سنجهو (sañjho) and Urdu سان٘جھ (sāñjh).
