[edit]Inherited from Prakrit 𑀲𑀁𑀛𑀸 (saṃjhā), from Sanskrit संध्या (saṁdhyā́, “twilight”). Cognate with Sindhi سنجهو (sañjho) and Urdu سان٘جھ (sāñjh).
