Etymology

Inherited from Proto-Turkic *tegül (is not), further etymology unclear. Perhaps a contraction of Proto-Turkic *tāg + *ol[1]

      ägär saġ-dur äsän-dür aḫşam olduġın gänä män saŋa gälüräm. Ordum saġ äsän dägül isä başuŋuza çārä edüŋ
      whether it is healthy or well I will still come to you at night. If my army is not healthy and well take care of yourselves.
