Usage notes
[edit]- Functionally equivalent to Polish można, Russian можно (možno), and Serbo-Croatian може се/može se.
- Despite being a very prevalent word in Pannonian Rusyn, мож (mož) is not listed as a separate term in some major dictionaries; this may be due to conflation with може (može), an inflection of мочи (moči) and an adverb in its own right, however they are functionally distinct.
Related terms
[edit]adjectives
- можлїви (možljivi)
verbs
- мочи impf or pf (moči)
