Usage notes
[edit]- đạm ("nitrogen") is only used when referring to fertilizer, as in NPK, also known as đạm-lân-kali ("nitrogen-phosphorus-potassium").
- The sense "protein" is chiefly used in the contexts of nutrition; in chemical and biological contexts, protein/prô-tê-in are generally preferred.
