[edit]From the root of ad·ágathar (Proto-Celtic *āgetor, from Proto-Indo-European *h₂eh₂ógʰe (“to be upset, afraid”), from *h₂egʰ-) + -thiu (from Proto-Celtic *-tiyū, *-tion- from Proto-Indo-European *-ti-Hō; cognate with Latin -tiō).
