- resin (hydrocarbon secretion of many plants, particularly coniferous trees, in its natural state)
Usage notes
[edit]While pihka and hartsi can both be translated as "resin", pihka is a natural product, which chemically speaking consists of non-volatile hydrocarbons generically called hartsi and volatile eteeriset öljyt (“essential oils”).
