Inherited from Ottoman Turkish هر حالده (her ḥalde),[1][2][3] from Persian هر (har) +‎ Arabic حَال (ḥāl),[4][5] equivalent to her (each, every) +‎ hâl (state, condition) +‎ -de (locative suffix).
