    • 1993, Pau Faner, Mal camí i bon senyor:
      De sobte Flora va avançar des de la vorera, com si l'aigua fos de gel, i a cada passa que feia es redreçava i era més àgil, les seves carns guanyaven fermesa, les seves faccions gallardia, i enjovenia a la vista.
      Suddenly Flora advanced from the shore, as if the water were ice, and with each step she took she straightened up and was more agile, her flesh gained firmness, her features grew more elegant, and her face youthified.
