@Saltmarsh, some ideas -excuse my writing here, at your personal page-:
1. imperfect + past too are both needed for 2nd conjug class A.
2. Is the space after every bullet needed?
Here is an extreme example, with lots of imaginary doubles.
3. with pres2= instead of head2 for better control

• / αγαπώ • imperf: αγαπούσα • / αγάπαγα • past: αγάπησα • (pass: αγαπιέμαι • / αγαπώμαι • past: αγαπήθηκα • ppp: αγαπημένος •)

Perhaps with params like:

• |head=αγαπάω|pres2=αγαπώ|imperf=αγαπούσα|imperf2=αγάπαγα|past=αγάπησα|pass=αγαπιέμαι|pass2=αγαπώμαι|p-past=αγαπήθηκα|ppp=αγαπημένος

passive lemmata have only one extra: «see active». In the passive, imperfect is rare.

• / αγαπώμαι • past: αγαπήθηκα • ppp: αγαπημένος • (see active: αγαπάω • / αγαπώ •)
• |head=αγαπιέμαι|pres2=αγαπώμαι|past=αγαπήθηκα|ppp=αγαπημένος|act=αγαπώ|act2=αγαπάω

The parameters (with dash possible) are all double, pasts triple (needed)

• |pres2=|imperf=|imperf2=|past=|past2=|past3=
  |pass= opens parenthesis|pass2=|p-imeprf=|p-imperf2=|p-past=|p-past2=|p-past3=|ppp= |ppp2= closes parenthesis if there is one
  |act= opens parenthesis|act2= closes parenthesis

4. Plus one exceptional passive past: when only 3rd person exists. |past-3rd= gives

past: (συνεθλίβη^3rd •)

@Sarri.greek Too much to deal with at one go!!

• I thought that you agreed (at Template talk:el-verb) that we could omit "alternative forms", if we are to restrict o/p (output) to less than one line (except in exceptional circumstances). But, I had forgotten about the 2nd lemma form (-άω/-ώ).
• I have been assuming that we were restricting ourselves to the forms generally shown in dictionaries — ie lemma/past(or imperf)/pass/pass-past(or pass-imperf)/ppp (ie not past PLUS imperfect)
• The extra space after the bullet is to clarify which term the bullet belongs to (I removed the commata). I think further punctuation makes the line more "busy"/messy/…

So I based what I have done on the Template talk:el-verb one

• αναθέτω (anathéto), past: ανέθεσα • (pass: ανατίθεμαι •   past: ανατέθηκα •   ppp: ανατεθειμένος •)

@Sarri.greek Can we discuss the issues one at a time please, addressing more in this medium leads to confusion (with me at least). I designed the template to produce a clear, simple single line — bearing in mind that verbs will have an inflection table with the full monty.

• So: other than the a single form in each case even when there is more than one, in which case it will be the most common or correct.

@Saltmarsh, it is fine! I have just shown the full line, as it is done in dictionaries. If not, I would rather have it as it is today. It is fine. No changes needed. All forms are included, but split in 2 pages (active and passive). Personally, I would rather have the main.lemma.HWL carry all the info but I understand that aesthetically it can become ugly, and too long. sarri.greek (talk) 12:39, 14 November 2019 (UTC)
