• Entry layout (EL) is a detailed policy on Wiktionary's page formatting; all entries must conform to it. The easiest way to start off is to copy the contents of an existing same-language entry, and then adapt it to fit the entry you are creating.

• Our Criteria for Inclusion (CFI) defines exactly which words can be added to Wiktionary; the most important part is that Wiktionary only accepts words that have been in somewhat widespread use over the course of at least a year, and citations that demonstrate usage can be asked for when there is doubt.
• If you already have some experience with editing our sister project Wikipedia, then you may find our guide for Wikipedia users useful.

Translations

Hi there. Did you know that you can add more than one translation at a time before pressing the save button? For example, you type in the Finnish translation of the word enlighten and you click it so that it shows up in the translation box. Then, before pressing save, you can type in another translation for the same word and after that, you can type in as many as you want to before pressing the save button :). Greek accent

Please understand that the tonos and grave were interchangeable based on context, that is, the same word could have either accent, based on its location in a sentence. Standard dictionary practice, which we're following here, is to use the tonos in every case except for multi-word idioms, which we currently have rather few of. βασιλεύς has been moved back to its original location. Template:el-nM-ος-οι-2a

I have removed the dative case you added to this modern Greek declension template. As I understand it the dative disappeared from the language long ago - remaining only in a few learned phrases. Am I right or do I have to eat humble pie? —Saltmarsh^{απάντηση} 06:18, 23 July 2010 (UTC)

spirit level

Hello,

You have added a bunch of mistranslations at spirit level. I haven't finished a cleanup there. What is your source and why did you do it? I can see that you have added translations from Google Translate. You should make a Babel table on your user page showing, which languages you know and stop translating into languages you don't speak. --Anatoli ^{(обсудить}/^вклад) 12:10, 28 December 2013 (UTC)
