I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wiktionarian! By the way, you can sign your name on Talk (discussion) and vote pages using four tildes, like this: ~~~~, which automatically produces your name and the current date. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to one of the discussion rooms or ask me on my Talk page. Again, welcome! --EncycloPetey 20:48, 17 February 2008 (UTC)
Note: in situations where there is only one quotation, but multiple senses of the word, it is preferred that the quotation be placed with the specific definition. (See [1]). Thanks for adding the missing definition, by the way. --EncycloPetey 20:48, 17 February 2008 (UTC)
- Dostoyevsky wrote in Russian, so the date and quotation you've provided are not meaningful unless the translator and date of translation are given as well. --EncycloPetey 22:10, 17 February 2008 (UTC)
- I added the translator. The date (1866) is the date of the translation; I could not find the date the book was published in Russian. --Jacqke
