• How to edit a page is a concise list of technical guidelines to the wiki format we use here: how to, for example, make text boldfaced or create hyperlinks. Feel free to practice in the sandbox. If you would like a slower introduction we have a short tutorial.
• Entry layout explained (ELE) is a detailed policy documenting how Wiktionary pages should be formatted. All entries should conform to this standard, the easiest way to do this is to copy exactly an existing page for a similar word.
• Our Criteria for inclusion (CFI) define exactly which words Wiktionary is interested in including. There is also a list of things that Wiktionary is not for a higher level overview.
• The FAQ aims to answer most of your remaining questions, and there are several help pages that you can browse for more information.
• We have discussion rooms in which you can ask any question about Wiktionary or its entries, a glossary of our technical jargon, and some hints for dealing with the more common communication issues.

Catalan entries

I don't speak Catalan, but I lived in French Catalunia for just 6 months - and I speak very good French and Spanish, so am relatively confident about my ability to read Catalan. I'm adding words from a tourist guide to Andorra at the moment. --Downunder 11:48, 20 January 2011 (UTC)

Thanks for the corrections. There are a handful of editors adding Catalan actually, comppared to other languages of a similar stature, but we're missing plenty of rather basic Catalan entries too. Anyway, it is enjoyable for me to add them. --Downunder 11:55, 20 January 2011 (UTC)

When you add verbs to MewBot's list, it would help if you make sure those verbs have conjugation tables first. There won't be much for the bot to do otherwise. :P —CodeCat 20:42, 22 January 2011 (UTC)

OK, I understand. Let's just say I have some new specials on the kitty's menu this week, which come from Catalunia. I'm treating it, but I can't really cook Catalan cat food. I have given the ingredients to the Catalan cook, and the cat will be able to eat once the final dish has been finalised by the head chef. Otherwise, it might be too chewy for your mog. I couldn't think of anyone better to ask, just heard someone on a show use the term super merde or possibly supermerde. I got the gist of the term but especially if it is the second we should have a definition. - [The]DaveRoss 03:58, 23 January 2011 (UTC)
