Usually 食果子拜樹頭. Some hits on Google, but very few and I don't think they're durably archived. Some hits even say something like 'haven't heard of 食水果拜樹頭' (in contrast to 食果子拜樹頭). — justin(r)leung { (t...) | c=› } 06:20, 13 May 2020 (UTC)
- See [1] (~30:14). The person saying it is from Xiamen, so it might be down to a difference between Xiamen Hokkien and Taiwanese Hokkien. Taiwanese Hokkien is, after all, more influential and better documented. The dog2 (talk) 06:35, 13 May 2020 (UTC)
- @The dog2: Thanks, but that's just one instance. Please see WT:CFI, especially WT:ATTEST. 閩南方言大詞典 (documenting Xiamen, Quanzhou and Zhangzhou Hokkien) has 食果子拜樹頭 so it's not just a Taiwanese thing. It seems to be an obvious case of Mandarin influence, but that's okay as long as it's attestable. — justin(r)leung { (t...) | c=› } 06:42, 13 May 2020 (UTC)
- It should be cited (with the newer rules concerning Min Nan). — justin(r)leung { (t...) | c=› } 16:10, 8 October 2020 (UTC)
- RFV passed. — justin(r)leung { (t...) | c=› } 06:55, 2 November 2020 (UTC)
