@Allahverdi Verdizade: This is a mystery to me. I don’t see any hint that قرض has such senses, قرز barely exists, **كرض not at all, كرز I have covered comprehensively. Crimean Tatar has elkerez with the same usage as Azerbaijani here described but not (Late?) Ottoman. قَصْر (qaṣr, “shortness, brevity”) supposedly also means “utmost”, قَصْرُكَ أَنْ (qaṣruka ʔan, “the utmost that you can attain is …”) but I don’t know who uses such things, manaman on Twitter and in subtitles doesn’t.

Well, if it does exist in Crimean, then it must have existed in Ottoman, there's no other possibility Allahverdi Verdizade (talk) 06:15, 10 September 2021 (UTC)
