Terms or senses in Ashokan Prakrit as written on a rock at Bairat (Viratnagar) in Rajasthan in India, now located in Calcutta (Kolkata).

This lect is extinct.

Not to be confused with Bairat Ashokan Prakrit, based on a different inscription at Bairat, which is still in situ. See Minor Rock Edicts#Locations for more information. This inscription is considered of greater importance than the in-situ Bairat inscription, since it is the only location containing Minor Rock Edict #3 (also known as the Bhabru Edict), while the in-situ inscription is one of several that contain Minor Rock Edict #1.
