Arabic form-I verbs with their past vowel i (فَعِلَ (faʕila)) and their non-past vowel i (يَفْعِلُ (yafʕilu)). In both cases, the vowel in question is the last vowel in the stem, which varies from verb to verb. This is a rare pattern, a variant of the i~a pattern often found especially when و is the first radical.
