- added to a noun, adjective or verb to create occupation nouns:
- βιβλιοθήκη (vivliothíki, “library”) + -άριος (-ários) → βιβλιοθηκάριος (vivliothikários, “librarian”)
- αποθήκη (apothíki, “store”) + -άριος (-ários) → αποθηκάριος (apothikários, “storekeeper”)
- λεγεών (legeón, “legion”) + -άριος (-ários) → λεγεωνάριος (legeonários, “legionnaire”)
