Sanskrit अवकृष्ट (avakṛṣṭa)
Prakrit 𑀑𑀓𑀟𑁆𑀠 (okaḍḍha)
Inherited from Sanskrit अवकृष्ट (avakṛṣṭa, “dragged down”), from अव- (ava-) + कृष्ट (kṛṣṭa), with the same irregular voicing as in 𑀓𑀟𑁆𑀠𑀇 (kaḍḍhaï, “to pull”); see there for more discussion.[1] By surface analysis, 𑀑- (o-) + 𑀓𑀟𑁆𑀠𑀇 (kaḍḍhaï). Cognate with Pali okaḍḍhati, Buddhist Hybrid Sanskrit ओकड्ढ (okaḍḍha).[2]
Adjective
