Usage notes
[edit]- As of 2019, the current older generation in Yanbian most commonly uses 즁국 (Jungguk). The generation before them used 듕국 (Dyungguk), no longer used nowadays; younger people, influenced by public education taught in the North Korean standard and by media from South Korea, use Standard Korean 중국 (Jungguk).
