[edit]広 (“vast”) + 目 (“eye”) + 天 (“deva”), Middle Chinese 廣目天王 (MC kwangX mjuwk then hjwang|hjwangH, literally “Vast-Eyed Heavenly King”), calque of Sanskrit विरूपाक्ष (virūpākṣa, literally “Ugly-Eyed One”)
