Particularly: “Not given etymology by STEDT (lâñ "also"). Luce connects the word to Old Chinese (OC *ren, “to link; and”),[1] which appears semantically sound, and phonetically feasible (Burmese ည်း finals can correspond to Chinese -n finals, per Hill 2019).”
