Etymology 1

From Pali nimmita (to create; to build; etc); ultimately from Sanskrit निर्मित (nirmita, created; built; etc), from which Thai นิรมิต (ní-rá-mít) is derived. Cognate with Khmer និម្មិត (nɨmmɨt).
