    Inherited from Prakrit 𑀑𑀫𑀼𑀤𑁆𑀥𑀕 (omuddhaga), from Sanskrit अवमूर्धक (avamūrdhaka), from अव- (ava-) + मूर्धन् (mūrdhan) + -क (-ka).
