Etymology

    Inherited from Middle Hindi ہتیلی (hatelī) (c. 1528),[1] from Sanskrit हस्ततल (hastatala) + Middle Indo-Aryan -𑀇𑀓𑀸- (-ikā-).[2][3][4] Compare ہاتھ (hāth, hand).
