[edit]Inherited from Sauraseni Prakrit 𑀘𑀫𑁆𑀫 (camma) + Middle Indo-Aryan -𑀟- (-ḍa-) + -𑀓- (-ka-),[1] from Sanskrit चर्मन् (cárman), from Proto-Indo-Aryan *ćárma, from Proto-Indo-Iranian *čárma.
