Etymology
[edit]From ҫиччӗ (śiččĕ, “seven”) + -мӗш (-mĕš, “ordinal suffix”), compare Bulgar [script needed] (ciyetiş, “seventh”).[1]
Cognate with Khalaj yîettiminci, Turkish yedinci, Uzbek yettinchi, Bashkir етенсе (yetense) and Yakut сэттис (settis).
